Princess Peach

Princess Peach

Princess Peach is a character from Nintendo's Mario series.

First appearance in the NES software "Super Mario Bros." Since then, he has appeared as a princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. Although it is the main heroine in the Mario series, even if more than 30 years have passed since the start of this series, she will be the only princess who will be kidnapped by the same enemy every time. Therefore, she is now well established as a synonym for the captive princess. In countries other than Japan, it used to be named Princess Toadstool (Princess Peach), but from "Super Mario 64" it has been unified as Princess Peach. The name Princess Peach first appeared in the United States in "Yoshi's Road Hunting" released in 1993. The early overseas name "Toadstool" refers to a mushroom with a white polka dot pattern on a red background (so-called "fly agaric", etc.), and rather from its colorful appearance overseas. Treated as a lucky charm, it often appeared in picture books and anime. Super mushrooms have a similar color scheme.
